Rosalie was already out the door and opening her car up, she put on her sunglasses and started the car up with a ZROOM. She looked up at the others and honked.

"Hurry up slow pokes!"

Growls softly wanting to hurry.

Jasper slides in the back seat easily while they argue annoyingly "get over it and she did call it... its been how long? and you still think you can beat her?"

Rosalie hit the gas and zooms out of the drive way, Her long blonde hair flowing backwards as she drove down the road at a high speed, she turns her radio up louder as she focuses back onto the road, she soon zoomed into the school parking lot, honking at the kids to get out of her way as she pulled into her normal parking spot, getting out taking off her glasses and grabbing her purse.

Rosalie pressed herself closely to Emmett as they walked, taking his hand into her and pressing her arm against his, leaning her head onto his shoulder and smiling softly as all the kids stared at the family and talked among themselves, Rosalie hit the button to lock her car as they walked up the steps into Forks High.

Carlisle checked his watch for the billionth time, glancing at the stack of paperwork he'd been putting off. He was hoping for anything; car accident, broken appendage, cardiac arrest; anything that would take him away from the paperwork. He sat back in his chair in his office, shaking his head and pulling his phone out of his pocket, setting it on the desk next to him and grabbing his pen, sliding the first of the files toward himself and reading. He filled out a quarter of the stack, ignoring the occasional twinge in the back of his throat. Knowing it was the only pain he would feel for the rest of his life, which just happened to be forever, he let it come. He looked tired, which said something about being a vampire. 'Two more hours and I can leave for the weekend. Dr. Snow is really starting to annoy me with these shifts. I've never worked swing. Well, its not like I'll complain, might as well suffer in silence. Hopefully I'll get home before the kids, get a little quiet time. Heavens knows they're not quiet.' He sat back and looked at the pictures on the corner of his desk, pictures of his family. They weren't really his family, as far as genetics goes, but he loved each and every one of them as they were his. All beautiful, but all unique in their own way. They made a rather motley crew, but what a family it was. His beautiful wife, Esme, his daughters, Rose and Alice, and his sons Edward, Emmett, and Jasper. He'd never been a luckier man, or happier.

The day flew by like no other. Math Class, History, English, and even Gym passed them all by quickly. Sooner then they knew it they were heading outside into the parking lot to the Car. Rosalie closed her eyes ever so softly and let out a fake sigh.

"How about we go visit Dad? He's been working for days straight....I think he'd like it if we came by and visited him."

She showed a quick smile and headed to her car, passing all the other students, unlocking her car and got it.

"Yeah l could use a littel R and R with dad. Hey mabey he feels like wrestling me again. He still oews me from that last one. "

She looked behind her softly at him raising her eyebrow, making a very very good point to him.

He finished stitching up the little boy's chin, smiling. "Okay, Andrew, you can't touch those. Your mom will bring you back in a few weeks and we'll look at it again to make sure its healed okay." He said. "But won't the stitches have to be taken out?" Little Andrew asked, slightly fearful of having to come back to the hospital. Carlisle chuckled. "No, these stitches will dissolve, so they'll let your chin heal and they'll disappear." He said. Andrew's eyes got wider. "You mean like magic?!" He asked excitedly. Andrew's mother laughed, shaking her head and looking to Dr. Cullen. "I suppose it would be, wouldn't it." Carlisle said with a smile. He turned to the boy's mother. "Watch him, he'll still be in a little pain, his jaw is going to be really sore tomorrow, so try to make sure he does eat, but only easy stuff. Give him a tablet of Tylenol before he goes to bed just to make sure he sleeps okay, and maybe keep him home from school tomorrow, just in case." He said and stripped his gloves off with a smile. "Thank you, Dr. Cullen." The woman said, smiling brightly. "Alright Andrew, what do you tell Dr. Cullen?" She asked. Andrew sat up straight and put his hand out, ready to shake Carlisle's. As the vampire took the boy's hand he had to give him credit for not flinching at the arctic feel of his skin. Andrew grinned. "Thank you Dr. Cullen." He said, shaking the man's hand. Carlisle chuckled and winked at Andrew. "You're welcome, Andrew." He said. He grabbed the boy's chart, dropped it off at the nurses station for Jackie to file away, slipped off his lab coat and headed back toward his office, running a hand through his hair. Just as he reached his office door, he caught scent of his kids and a smile touched his lips.

Alice smiles "So?" and buckles up for looks, and not wanting really to be thrown out of the car if something happened.
